| Henrietta III Riverboat docked at Water and Market Streets. The original Henrietta cruised the Cape Fear River from 1818 to 1858. The Henrietta III has been in service since 2000. |

| Cape Fear Memorial Bridge at 3rd and Castle Streets spanning the Cape Fear River, constructed 1969. A steel vertical-lift bridge, currently the highest bridge in North Carolina and features a lift span that can be raised 135 feet. |
